On the morning of May 28, 2016 the open tournament of the "Ring the Golden Bell - Law edition" was co-organized by the Faculty of Law of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) and Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF). This was the second time the contest was held that attracted a large number of participating students.
This year's contest includes students from both HUTECH and UEF
Attending the program were Dr. Kieu Tuan - Chairman of the Board of Trustees of HUTECH, Dr. Ngo Cao Cuong - Vice President of UEF, Ms. Nguyen Thi Cuc - Judge of the People's Court of Ho Chi Minh City and Dr. Nguyen Thanh Duc - Dean of HUTECH Law Faculty.
The main content of the competition included general legal knowledge covered in the Bachelor of Economic Law program as well as other relevant legal and social issues. After the answer was revealed for each question, in-depth analysis and explanation were provided by members of the Advisory Board to help students better understand the subjects at hand.
Advisory Board of the Contest
This year’s competition was divided into two series. Competing in the opening match were 35 HUTECH students and 35 UEF students (Class of 2015). After each question was asked, the contestants would raise their chalkboards to reveal their answers. Students would remain in the competition if they answered the questions correctly. Because there were only two contestants still competing after the first ten questions, the Jury decided to exercise their Relief option to save the eliminated contestants and allow them to return to the match.
