Congratulations to two HUTECH lecturers honored with the 2016 Outstanding Young Teacher Award

On November 18, 2016, Mr. Le Dinh Luong and Mr. Vu Anh Sao - two young lecturers of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) were honored with the 2016 Outstanding Young Teacher Award by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union.

The ceremony was solemnly held at the Youth Cultural House located in District 1. On this occasion, the distinguished teachers were joined and congratulated by Mr. Lam Dinh Thang - Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnamese Student Association.

Out of a total of 760 nominees from 65 different schools and higher education institutions, the Selection Committee has agreed to award the Outstanding Young Teachers titles to 214 individuals. Among those who received this year’s award, two faculty members of HUTECH were honored to be recognized among 132 nominations in the University - College category.
Young lecturers from universities and colleges receive certificates of merit and medals
As one of the two lecturers from HUTECH receiving this year’s award, Mr. Le Dinh Luong said: "Proud to be doing the noblest profession among noble professions, I always strive to improve my knowledge and personal development while devoting myself to the education career.” This is the 3rd time (2013, 2014, 2016), Mr. Le Dinh Luong was recognized with this honorable title.

As for Mr. Vu Anh Sao, the young lecturer said, “It is important to constantly improve my professional qualifications and acquire knowledge of new teaching methods. Having the opportunity to engage in teaching my students and organize events at the university further provides the personal motivation to strive further and contribute to the cause of education.”

Recognized for their outstanding achievements in teaching and activities within the university, the recognition of Mr. Le Dinh Luong and Mr. Vu Anh Sao with Ho Chi Minh City’s 2016 Outstanding Young Teacher Award is well deserving. This is a truly meaningful gift for these two young lecturers specifically and HUTECH in general ahead of the celebration of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20).
