Even though Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20) has just passed, the celebratory atmosphere of this special occasion still lingers at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH). Moreover, the gratitude from students to those who have opened their eyes to the world of knowledge has never subsided.
Taking place on November 29, 2016, a music gala titled “That's What I Want to Say” was organized in honor of all the teachers and lecturers by students of the Faculty of Law. The program was held in Hall A-08.20 at HUTECH Main Campus.
Messages of gratitude sent by Faculty of Law students to their teachers through the music gala “That's What I Want to Say”
Through the “That's What I Want to Say” music gala, students expressed their gratitude to their teachers by displaying beautiful renditions of familiar tunes associated with the dedication of teachers and the high honor of the education career. These songs filled the audience and especially all the lecturers present at the gala with joy and full of emotions.
The lines from a thank you letter, titled “To my respectable teacher. Thank you for everything!” are as follows: “Through every step of my journey, there will always be a few individuals that accompany me in creating the special memories. Sometimes, they can be parents, friends, or even teachers. For me, my teachers are those who not only help me access new knowledge but leave the best impressions and memories of my entire student life.”
Messages filled with endearment and gratitude to the teachers sent by students
There are also narratives about the memorable time studying at HUTECH. One letter recalls, “I still remember the day when I was still a high school student wearing a long dress and riding a bicycle along the village road. Now as a university student, I proudly wear on my shoulder the bright HUTECH’s orange shirt.” In another message, one exclaims, “How quickly time passes! Four years of college and now we're almost halfway there. We won't be together much longer."
In between listening to these emotional messages, lecturers and students of the Faculty of Law were also treated to the familiar melodies about teachers and students, including Người thầy (Teacher), Nhất quỷ nhì ma (First the devil, second the ghost), Người thầy năm xưa (The teacher from years ago), Ký ức sân trường (School year memories), etc. These songs filled up the auditorium with emotions and gratitude from students to their beloved teachers - the silent ferrymen bringing them to new shores of knowledge.
Let's take a look back at the best moments from “That’s what I want to say” music gala night!
