Starting from April 23, 2017, "Breaking Law" - "Awakening the Potential of Law" is an academic playground that brings together prestigious universities in Ho Chi Minh City. After two rounds of competition, students of the Faculty of Law of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) successfully won the ticket to enter the final round.

Hosted by the Faculty of Law of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Law (VNU-HCMC), this year’s contest attracts the participation of 21 competing teams from universities and colleges in Ho Chi Minh City, such as Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City, etc. All teams entering the competition have the main goal of exchanging knowledge and gaining new experience. With careful preparation in terms of foundational and specialized subject knowledge, students from HUTECH Faculty of Law under the team’s name, HUTECH LAW, have successfully entered the final round of the competition.

The preliminary round took place on April 23, 2017, each team had to take a knowledge test, and present their views on a topic raised by the Organizing Committee. As a result, HUTECH Law students were among the top 10 teams advancing to the semi-final round.
In the semi-final round titled “Jury” which took place on May 7, 2017, the top 10 teams competed in five different categories. After an intense competition, HUTECH LAW team won one of the tickets to enter the final round of the contest.
The final round titled "Legislator" is scheduled for May 14, 2017. Hopefully, with their solid knowledge, confidence, and acumen, HUTECH LAW members will achieve the best results in the competition.
