FACULTY OF TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT

INTRODUCTION

- The Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) was established in August 2014 as the result of separating and reorganizing the following three programs into an independent academic unit, including Tourism & Travel Management, Restaurant & Catering Services Management, Hotel Management, from the Faculty of Business Administration.
 

- With over 20 years of experience in providing academic programs and training of students in the hospitality industry, the leaders, lecturers, and staff members of the Faculty of  Tourism and Hospitality Management strive to introduce students to the latest materials and research results in the relevant fields of study. Concurrently, students are allowed the opportunity to engage in practice-oriented training courses that timely reflect the changes and development in the service industry as well as the larger society.  Besides, the Faculty tries to promote student engagement in a wide range of academic and professional activities to hone their specialized skills and subject knowledge during their university studies. By participating in the Corporate Semester program, students also gain valuable practical experience, develop soft skills, improve intercultural communication, etc. These qualities together provide a well-rounded educational experience for students enabling them to develop comprehensively, confidently integrate into the global community, and succeed in their chosen careers in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural environment.
