HUTECH Faculty of Finance and Commerce students perform covers of hit songs at the “Raise your voice” contest

On July 4, the Vanguard Arts and Cultural Club of the Faculty of Finance and Commerce, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) held a virtual ceremony to conclude and award the winners of the “Raise your voice” contest.
The online Award and Closing Ceremony had the participation of leaders from the Faculty of Finance and Commerce, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van Tung (Dean) and Mr. Tran Nam Trung (Vice Dean), as well as Mr. Nguyen Duy Thinh - Deputy Head of the Office of Student Affairs along with lecturers of the Faculty.

Kicking off on June 10, the Raise your voice contest has attracted the participation of a large number of contestants with more than 20 performances. Over two weeks of voting, the competition has identified the six performances with the highest online fan votes that will be performing at the Closing Ceremony. These performances will be live-streamed and followed by a large number of HUTECH students.

With an outstanding performance of the song Fragile Rose (Nụ hồng mong manh), Doan Thuy Linh (20DKTB1 class) became the singing contest’s winner. Followed by Nguyen Thi Thu Thao (20DKTB2 class) who won the second prize with a cover of the song Fading Past (Dĩ vãng nhạt nhòa). Last but not least, the third prize went to Tran Gia Khanh (19DKTC2 class) with the cover of the hit song Give it to me (Hãy trao cho anh).
