HUTECH’s Leaders Visit Open University Malaysia (OUM)

From December 6 to 8, the delegation of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) had a visit to the Open University Malaysia (OUM). Leading the delegation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Xuan Lam-Vice Chairman and Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien-Vice President, together with other representatives, visited and worked on many important cooperation agreements.

With the warm and solemn reception of OUM, HUTECH representatives met and discussed with OUM’s leaders about the programs that have been and are being offered, and also seeking new cooperation orientations. Specifically, in the coming time, HUTECH and OUM will strengthen the exchange of lecturers and students to improve the quality of teaching and learning and develop the best human resources for the two countries.

In particular, HUTECH delegation had the opportunity to participate in specialized training courses to learn from OUM's lecturers and managers on teaching and learning through digital platforms, developing teaching contents and techniques in curriculum design, writing teaching module, quality assurance, communication-marketing, etc.

The exchange has opened up many prospects for teaching, research and learning for lecturers and students of international joint Bachelor's and Master's programs between HUTECH and OUM; at the same time, strenthening HUTECH-OUM relations. The effective cooperation with OUM in particular and the world's leading university in general during the past years is an important foundation for HUTECH to increasingly assert its position, integrate into the world education, and meet the increasingly modern and diverse learning trend.
