Expanding the international connection environment is always the top concern of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH). On the morning of March 17, HUTECH had a working meeting and signed a cooperation agreement with Kettering University (USA) at the Saigon Campus, opening up new networking opportunities for students in an international environment.
The signing ceremony was solemnly held with the participation of representatives of the two units. On the side of Kettering University was Dr. Robert K. McMahan - President of Kettering College, and Dr. James Zhang - Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs and CEO.
The activity received full attention and participation from representatives of the units' leaders.
The representatives of HUTECH were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Bui Xuan Lam - Vice Chairman of the School Council, Dr. Nguyen Thuy Hong Van - Director of the Institute of International Education, Dr. Hoang Ngoc Nhung - Deputy Director of the Institute of International Education, and Dr. Dinh Hai Yen - Director of the Center for International Cooperation.
At the beginning of the program, the representatives of the two schools had time to discuss and introduce each unit through videos and photos so that the partners could better understand the contributions of each other. Accordingly, HUTECH introduced its open education system, internationally-oriented development plan, modern buildings, services, and learning facilities.. In addition, the University also shared its transnational educational cooperation model, international connection programs, and student exchange programs which demonstrate interest on the part of HUTECH for the ongoing expansion of international cooperation with other universities.
The contents exchanged and oriented by the two parties were specifically recorded in the signing.
