10 frequent readers of HUTECH Library receive congratulatory letters from the University President

According to statistics from the 2015-2016 academic year, the Library of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) welcomes more than 800 daily visitors with over 16,000 check-out items and nearly 27,500 downloaded e-books. The ten students, who have been selected to receive the congratulatory notes from the President, are recognized for their most active readership of HUTECH Library.

Over 800 students visit HUTECH Library daily to study and conduct research
On this occasion, the following students, namely Truong Thi Kim Chi, Tran Gia Anh, Nguyen Thi Van, Doan Van Phu, Nguyen Thanh Phuong, Huynh Thi Cam Hang, Nguyen Thang Loi, Nguyen Thi Thu Trang, Dinh Cam Tien, and Pham Thi Thanh Tien, are the lucky recipients of these surprising gifts.
Among the frequent users of HUTECH Library, Kim Chi and Thanh Phuong both feel extremely proud and surprised about this meaningful action from the University.

The active reading culture is one of the notable qualities of HUTECH
Mr. Hoang Ngoc Tuan - Director of HUTECH Library said, “In selecting the most frequent users of HUTECH Library to present the President’s congratulation letter, it is a genuine gesture of caring for student learning from the university.”
Upon being recognized for their active readership of the Library, HUTECH students will be given priority to use the Library's facilities including checking out up to four books at a time versus the usual two books, receiving discount coupons during library’s book sales, etc.
Hopefully, in the future, students will continue to take advantage of the learning opportunities and facilities available at HUTECH Central Library. Moreover, more students can make it into the selected list of most frequent readers of the Library.
