Many interesting lessons of National Defense Education awaits freshmen

For students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), the National Defense Education semester has become a memorable time that promises many interesting experiences.

On-campus military courses

The lessons are offered to students right at HUTECH Main Campus (475A Dien Bien Phu) which saves students much time on traveling time while having access to a familiar learning environment.

However, students should not get too excited because they still have to follow the special disciplines that are required for these courses! Students have a chance to become mature adults through learning how to conduct themselves and abide by strict training rules under the organization of the military.

Practice military drill skills

The National Defense Education course consists of 3 modules: National Defense - Security Education 1; Defense Education - Security 2; Defense Education - Security 3. Students will find subjects such as formation, tactics, shooting much interesting. Through these lessons, students will gain additional military knowledge and learn about shooting techniques while having a new perspective on the fighting spirit of the nation.

It can be affirmed that the National Defense Education plays a meaningful role in educating and raising awareness as well as quality in contributing to nation-building and defense.

Special notices:
- The National Defense Education for the class of 2016 will start on September 5, 2016

Cohorts with their orientation periods between August 9 and August 27 are divided into two sessions in the National Defense - Security Education 1 course:
- Session 1: classes will go from September 5 through September 9. The final exam is scheduled for September 10, 2016.
- Session 1: classes will go from September 12 through September 16. The final exam is scheduled for September 17, 2016.

Starting from August 29, 2016, students can look up Course and Exam Schedule for National Defense Education at the Student Portal http://daotao.hutech.edu.vn/. Log in with the Student ID
