Spring 2026 Admission – Sejong University, Seoul, Korea
Professor Dongkyu Lee's lab at Sejong University (Seoul, South Korea) is now recruiting new students for the Spring 2026 intake.
1. Fields of Research:
- Computational Mechanics (focus on Solid Mechanics)
- Optimization, Deep Learning, Numerical Methods, etc.
2. Scholarship and Financial Support:
- 100% tuition fee waiver.
- Combine Master + PhD track: 1,200,000 KRW/month for the first 2 years (Master period), 1,500,000 KRW/month for the next 2 years (PhD period).
- Pure PhD track: from 1,500,000 KRW/month, with salary increases based on paper performance and semester evaluations.
- Outstanding candidates may receive higher salary based on interview performance.
- Health insurance and personal expenses are not included (students should consider approx. 75,000 KRW/month additionally).
3. Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (related to mechanical engineering, computer science, mathematics, AI or other fields).
- Good GPA.
- Good English communication skills. IELTS 5.5 required before graduation (can be submitted after admission).
- Hardworking, honest and willing to pursue academic research.
