Date: October 14, 2025Master’s Scholarship Program in Collaboration with China Medical University (Taiwan)
Professor Chih-Hsin Tang from China Medical University (CMU), Taichung, Taiwan, in collaboration with the CIRTech Institute (HUTECH University), is offering scholarships for candidates to pursue the International Master’s Program of Biomedical Sciences (IMPBS). The program is expected to begin in the Fall semester of 2026.

2. Number of Scholarships Available
- 02 students
- Monthly stipend:
+ First year: NT$12,000 – NT$15,000 (depending on interview performance)
+ Second year: NT$14,000 – NT$17,000 (based on research performance during the first year)
- Tuition waiver: Full tuition fee waived for the first academic year
- Interview: Conducted directly by Professor Chih-Hsin Tang, following the candidate’s successful screening interview with the CIRTech Institute.
4. Application Process and Admission Requirements- Selection process:
+ Document review (50%) – Academic record evaluation
+ Interview (50%) – Conducted by CMU, prior to the professional interview round
- Academic requirements:
+ Minimum GPA: 3.0/4.0 or equivalent
+ English proficiency: At least CEFR Level B2 (Vantage) or higher
(e.g., TOEFL iBT ≥ 72, TOEFL ITP ≥ 543, or IELTS ≥ 5.5)
+ Eligible majors: Applicants with a background in Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, Biotechnology, or Biomedical Sciences
