Amid the growing pace of global scientific research, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) reaffirmed Vietnam’s academic presence internationally as a co-organizer of the 7th International Research Conference on Innovations in Engineering, Science, and Technology (IRCIEST 2025), held from October 22 to 24 in the Philippines.

HUTECH co-organizes IRCIEST 2025, highlighting Vietnam’s academic presence internationally
Hosted at Batangas State University (BatStateU, Philippines), the 7th International Research Conference on Innovations in Engineering, Science, and Technology (IRCIEST) took place under the theme “Engineering the Future: Transformative Research for Global Advancement.” The conference gathered hundreds of scholars, researchers, technology experts, entrepreneurs, and government representatives from various countries to share research findings and strategic directions in the era of global innovation.
The conference brought together international scholars and experts to share research and innovation strategies
Among the co-organizing institutions, HUTECH was the only representative from Vietnam, joining Indian Maritime University (India), University of the Built Environment (United Kingdom), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (Malaysia), and 13 leading universities in the Philippines. HUTECH’s role as a co-organizer reaffirmed its academic influence, research capacity, and international reputation within the Asia-Pacific education and scientific network.
HUTECH is the sole Vietnamese co-organizer of IRCIEST 2025
Representing HUTECH at the conference were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong, Vice President; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quoc Hung, Director of the Institute of Engineering; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Viet, Head of the Department of Science and Technology; Dr. Pham The Anh Phu, Lecturer and Researcher of the Faculty of Information Technology; Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong, Head of the Department of International Relations and Project Management; and Dr. Nguyen Luu Thanh Tan, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Marketing and International Business. The delegation not only presented their research but also served as keynote speakers and session moderators, showcasing the academic leadership of Vietnamese scholars.
