HUTECH welcomed and collaborated with Pusan National University and Seoil Casting Company (South Korea)

On the morning of October 23rd, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) hosted a meeting and worked with representatives from Pusan National University (PNU) and Seoil Casting Company as part of a student exchange program. This program aims to expand international cooperation, provide high-quality education and training, and offer students in the engineering field numerous opportunities for learning and employment.

The meeting was attended by Professor Hee-Chang Lim from the PNU Mechanical Engineering Department, and Mr. Wook-Jin Cho, Research Manager at Seoil Casting Company. HUTECH's representatives, who welcomed the working delegation, included Assoc.Prof. Dr. Pham Van Viet, Head of the Department of Science and Technology, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Luan, Deputy Head of the Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thai Van Nam, Head of the Institute of Postgraduate Studies, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hung, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Engineering.

During the reception, the representatives from both institutions exchanged ideas and discussed the cooperative program which aims to select outstanding HUTECH students to participate in training courses at PNU. This program provides students with the opportunity to work at Seoil Casting Company and become suitable candidates for that business sector.

As part of the program, HUTECH introduced five excellent students with a passion for scientific research in fields such as Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, and Chemical Engineering, to participate in direct interviews with PNU and Seoil Casting Company.

In addition to these discussions, the two institutions also talked in detail about the collaboration to support Master's and Ph.D. level education through the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between HUTECH and PNU, as well as Seoil Casting Company.

This meeting opened up prospects for collaboration, providing opportunities for learning and development in South Korea for students.

The meeting and collaboration with Pusan National University and Seoil Casting Company opened up numerous prospects for cooperation between the two sides, providing more opportunities for learning, internships, and employment, as well as providing students with an opportunity to develop their expertise in South Korea.
