On February 22, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) held a meeting with the Counselor for Science and Higher Education Cooperation at the French Embassy in Hanoi to explore various opportunities for university students to study and conduct research..

The reception took place at Saigon Campus.

At the Saigon Campus, the meeting was attended by Prof. Dominique Laffly, Attaché for Science and University Cooperation, and Ms. Flora Canetti, who is responsible for Technical Cooperation and Innovation.

The representatives from HUTECH included Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien, Vice Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong, Vice Rector ,and Dr. Nguyen Thuy Hong Van, Director of the Institute of International Education.

During the meeting, Prof. Dominique Laffly shared information about the scholarship policy for master's and doctoral students, as well as planned projects including team capacity building and job search skills for students. The research programs will focus on areas related to data, environment, energy, and information technology, with a particular emphasis on the goals of the COP26 program.

As part of the program's framework, the representative from HUTECH briefly introduced the education system, highlighting its strengths, development orientation, and the university's desire to expand international cooperation with many countries.
