Many useful strategies will be suggested for the classroom staff at the Workshop "Skills to manage and handle conflict situations."

On April 20th, the Student Affairs Department of the University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City (HUTECH) is organizing a Workshop for the audience of the Class Personnel Committee with the topic "Skills to manage and handle conflict situations". Students in the whole school can register to participate until April 18th.

 

The workshop is being organized to improve the quality of techniques and professionalism of the staff  to support the process of gaining the attention of  and managing classes. Thereby, those interested can equip themselves with the necessary "tips", promoting the role of a bridge between the University and the students of the "leading" team.

 
Many useful  strategies will be suggested  for the classroom staff at the Workshop "Skills to manage and handle conflict situations." 16 

The program will take place at 13:30 at hall A.08.20 - Saigon Campus, with the sharing from experts in the field of skills training, including: speaker Bui Thi Thy - Lecturer at Human Resource Training Center FPT and Ms. Vo Thi Kim Hong - Head of Recruitment and Human Resource Development Department FPT Telecom (Top 50 FPT in 2022).

 

During this time the attendee will be guided on topics such as: identifying conflicts that often occur among students and tips for promoting the handling of conflicts, such as putting yourself in the other person's shoes, simplifying problems, and solving problems. Problem-solving strategies by peaceful methods, such as improving listening skills, and  the controlling of emotions. Attention will also be given as to how to handle conflicts arising in the business environment and the development of leadership skills.

The speaker will share  management of emotions and conflict-handling skills withstudents.

 

Dr. Huynh Ngoc Anh - Head of Student Affairs Department explained the purpose of this workshop by saying : “ The main goal is to  improve the quality of training at HUTECH, and at the same time foster professional skills, management skills, and the skillful handling of situations arising during the management process of the effective classroom.  The Student Affairs Department cooperated with FPT to organize this workshop. The content was designed based on real-life experiences. , The workshop will be organized around an interactive format,   combining the speaker's presentation and the question and answer session with the students. The content  ensures feasibility and practical,effective application . This is a practical gift HUTECH gives students on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of the establishment of the school”.
