On May 25, 2018, the Faculty of Architecture and Arts of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) held the finals round of the 2nd “Barbie Doll Fashion Design” contest.
The 2018 “Barbie Doll Fashion Design” contest was organized with the theme “Vietnamese identity” honoring the beauty of Vietnamese traditional costumes.

Among the 30 most beautiful designs competing in the Final round, each is imbued with a strong sense of Vietnamese national identity. In this round, the contestants are asked to deliver a presentation explaining the concept, material, and color choice in the construction of their design in the preceding preliminary round.

In the final round, each contestant gave a live demonstration by executing their design in front of the judges' panel while showcasing their ingenuity and mastery through their fashion design knowledge and skills.

After more than two hours, 30 dolls were dressed in gorgeous and unique outfits by the contestants.
