Faculty of Architecture and Arts organizes a Heritage Preservation Workshop and signs a cooperation agreement with Minerva Technology Solutions JSC

On December 7, in collaboration with Minerva Technology Solutions JSC (Minerva), the Faculty of Architecture and Arts, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) organized the workshop titled “Protecting and promoting the value of architectural works of the ancient villa No. 110-112 Vo Van Tan”.
Representatives of Minerva included Ms. Nguyen Vu Dan Vi - Deputy General Director, Mr. Ninh Trung Tan - Director of Cultural Projects. From HUTECH, there were members of the university leadership as well as the deans of the Faculty of Architecture and Arts.

During the workshop, Minerva experts highly appreciated the historical and architectural value of the ancient villa while also emphasizing the importance of restoring and preserving this structure.

A group of students from the Faculty of Architecture and Arts of HUTECH has also been selected to participate in the mural restoration project. The selection was made based on the student meeting the three primary criteria, including passion, merit, and English communication skills. After completing the training by the experts from Palazzo Spinelli Academy, these students will be receiving the certification for their participation in the mural restoration project. It is a valuable opportunity for students to gain practical experience and learn about the restoration and preservation of cultural heritage properties.
Also at the workshop, representatives of HUTECH and Minerva signed a cooperation agreement facilitating the continued collaboration on training activities, sharing experiences, and providing technical guidance on the implementation of architectural heritage conservation.

Hopefully with the activities to be implemented in collaboration with Minerva, architecture students at HUTECH will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the practical working environment while improving their ability to become qualified professionals in the field of heritage conservation and restoration.
