Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Quyen speaking at the Exhibition of Architectural Models created by HUTECH’s future architects
According to Ms. Hoang Hai Yen - Head of Architecture program, architectural model making is one of the indispensable skills that architecture students need to master during their studies. Simulating architectural works through models enables viewers to thoroughly visualize the scale and design of the project in the most intuitive way. The exhibition includes 93 models which are final projects made by students from classes 18DKIA1 and 18DKIA2 majoring in Architecture.
Architectural model making is a required skill for future architects who will be in charge of designing actual architectural works.
Students have created excellent models replicating iconic buildings around the world including Marina Bay Sand Skypark (Singapore), Bitexco Financial Tower and Landmark 81 (Vietnam), Heydar Aliyev Center (Azerbaijan Republic), and MAXXI - National Museum of 21st Century Art (Italy) using environmentally friendly materials.
