On May 21, 2016, the final round of the "GREEN - HANDS" competition co - organized by Ho Chi Minh University of Technology (HUTECH) and DECOR Fingerprint Company took place successfully.

Attending the event were members of the university’s leadership, Faculty of Architecture and Arts along with representatives of Van Tay DECOR Co. Participating in the Final Round were also 10 teams making of individuals and groups of students.

"GREEN - HANDS" Festival - "Green ideas - Green actions"
Based on the idea and spirit of “Green Idea - Green Action”, the competition promotes the use of recycled materials and waste products to create handmade product lines. Among the thousands of entries, the judges have selected the 10 most impressive products based on their beautiful and creative designs to participate in the Final Round.
10 teams have two hours to implement and perfect their products
Here, 10 competing teams have two hours to create their products based on the "original version" previously submitted online to the organizers of the contest.

Based on four criteria: creativity, aesthetics, sustainability, and functionality, the winning products include:
First Prize: Paper flower vase – Team of Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang, University of Architecture Second Prize: Wall-hanging paintings - Nguyen Manh Tuan, Van Lang University Third Prize: Multi-function cabinet – Team of Nguyen Ngoc Kim Ngan, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH)

On this occasion, the organizers also awarded prizes for the Online contest portion previously held at the Creating Green Spaces fan page.
The conclusion of this year’s contest is celebrated by the organizers and all the contestants for their efforts and enthusiasm. The 10 finalists would be put on display so that HUTECH students could have the opportunity to enjoy the creative and multiperspective handmade art space.
