INTRODUCTION
The Office of External and Public Relations was established under Decision No. 356/QD-DKC of the President of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) on May 1st, 2010, formerly part of the Office of Admissions Consultancy and Communication. Starting on February 1st, 2021, in order to consolidate and specialize the work of each functional unit, the former office was divided into two independent units. The Office of External and Public Relations continues to be responsible for overseeing all university’s official publications, communication, and media. At the same time, the Office also implements marketing strategies and promotional activities that aim to improve recognition and perception of the University’s brand image.
MISSION AND FUNCTIONS
>>> Functions:
- Advising and assisting the Board of Presidents and acting as the head unit in charge of developing plans and implementing strategies to disseminate information, develop and promote HUTECH’s brand;
- Proposing strategies to increase brand recognition in the current trend of increasing university autonomy aligning with the University's overall strategic goals;
- Constructing, promoting, and developing HUTECH’s brand while fostering a good relationship between the University and the society.
