Deputy Minister Banh Tien Long visits the laboratory system of the Faculty of Environment and Biotechnology at HUTECH

On May 10, 2008, Prof. Dr. Sc. Banh Tien Long, Permanent Deputy Minister of Education and Training visited the laboratory system of the Faculty of Environment & Biotechnology at HUTECH. Accompanying the Deputy Minister on this visit was Mr. Do Quoc Anh, Director of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Education and Training in Ho Chi Minh City.
The purpose of the visit was to check on the actual conditions of university facilities before the Ministry of Education and Training submitting its request to the Government in granting Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology the authorization to implement the graduate program (master’s degree level) in Environmental Technology. The Faculty of Environment and Biotechnology is the first and so far the only academic department within the university to be considered for permission for postgraduate training.
