On June 1, 2015, HUTECH students majoring in Food Technology had an interesting hands-on experience during their visit to Acecook Vietnam Factory located in Tan Binh Industrial Park. The field trip aimed to provide students with the opportunity to enhance knowledge and apply theories that they have learned into practice.
During their tour of the factory, students were excited to have a closer look at the instant noodle production line. They also learned about the production process and had the opportunities to discuss with the personnels in the Marketing and R&D department to gain insights about their experience and practical knowledge from working at the factory.

One student from 12DTP Class shared his thought about the visit, “The tour was such a valuable experience! I have gained a great amount of practical knowledge which is a testament to the theoretical courses that we have learned from class.”
The field trip also received positive feedback from other students, such as helping them gain practical experience, learning from a professional working environment, and providing opportunities for future job search.
With the upfront experience of the operation of modern machinery and equipment through the visit to Acecook Vietnam Factory, students have become more interested in their chosen major and motivated to further develop their potentials. More field trips will certainly be organized in the future as a chance for HUTECH students to enhance their knowledge through such experiences.
