MobiLab 3 – an advanced wastewater monitoring solution
With the main objectives of finding wastewater treatment solutions for industrial parks in Vietnam, the 2nd Phase of the collaborative research project on integrated wastewater management between the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam and the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology of Germany has produced and delivered a mobile monitoring station called MobiLab 3. HUTECH is honored to be one of the three local project partners that directly engages in the research and improvement of the mobile monitoring station from practical field operation.
Dr. Kieu Tuan - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of HUTECH - and Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoang Viet - Vice President of HUTECH - receive the handover of MobiLab 3 from the representative of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research
Situated at the testing site, MobiLab 3 acts as a mobile wastewater monitoring station that is capable of automatic sampling, delivering fast results, online transfer of data. The system is also equipped with a surveillance camera and a generator. Between 2010 and 2016, MobiLab 3 has been successfully employed by lecturers and students of the Faculty of Biotechnology, Food, and Environment in relevant research activities and field works. Upon its transfer to HUTECH, MobiLab 3 Mobile Wastewater Monitoring Station would be utilized in the ongoing research and learning activities at the university in order to maximize the potential of this device.
