Experts from C.P. Vietnam accompany HUTECH students in exploring the opportunities and challenges at enterprises

On March 12, the Institute of Applied Sciences at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) collaborated with C.P. Vietnam Corporation in organizing a seminar on the labor market topics titled “Challenges and opportunities.”

The seminar was attended by the leadership of HUTECH Institute of Applied Sciences, representatives from the University’s Center for Corporate Relations, Mr. Nguyen The Anh - Director of Training and Development of C.P. Vietnam Corporation, Mr. Le Hoang Chuong - Assistant of Deputy General Director in charge of Recruitment and Communication, Mr. Nguyen Anh Dung - Head of Human Resource & Recruitment Department of C.P. Vietnam Corporation.

Sr. Lec. Dr. Nguyen Le Ha said, “Through today’s seminar, I hope that students can better understand the career paths that they are interested in, thereby creating plans to enhance knowledge and expertise while gaining valuable experience before starting work at the many leading enterprises.”

During the seminar, HUTECH students were given an overview of the operation and production activities of C.P. Vietnam Corporation covering its food and farm sectors, as well as information on the available open positions at different departments of the company. Moreover, the company representative also talked about the job requirements and conditions for potential candidates to assume these positions.

The speakers also pointed out the opportunities and challenges facing students when seeking employment. On the other hand, students were also advised to have a strategic plan that could enable them to pursue their passion and future careers early on in their study by preparing the necessary subject knowledge and soft skills.

Based on the valuable advice and information gained from today’s seminar, students had a better grasp of the recruitment requirements and employment conditions, thereby motivating students to strive to improve themselves in their pursuit of potential career opportunities.
