On March 27, HUTECH Institute of Applied Sciences organized a seminar titled "Environmental pollution and awareness among young people" which took place at Nguyen Hue High School (Thu Duc City).

The seminar had the presence of Mr. Nguyen Duy Hai - Director of Gia Dinh Environmental Engineering Company, Mr. Lam Vinh Son - Vice Director of HUTECH Institute of Applied Sciences along with several lecturers and students of the Institute.

The lecturers of the Institute of Applied Sciences shared with students about the major environmental issues such as pollution, population explosion, the environmental impact of epidemics, etc. as well as the responsibilities for students pursuing their studies in environmental-related majors. At the seminar, students also had the opportunity to learn and gain additional information about other available degree programs offered by the Institute.
On this occasion, students were also introduced to the contest "Environment and People" - an annual academic competition organized by the Institute with a category dedicated to high school students who are passionate about environmental issues. Through this contest, students will have the chance to spread their messages and ideas about environmental protection to the community.
Several meaningful gifts from the Institute and accompanied sponsors of the “Environment and People” contest were given to students of Nguyen Hue High School, including one scholarship with a value of 3,000,000 VND and five English scholarships at ELC English Language Center.
