The HUTECH Institute of Engineering kicks off the Intramural Sports Fest with more than 1,000 student athletes

On the morning of November 29, HUTECH Institute of Engineering kicked off the Intramural Sports Fest for the 2020-2021 academic year with an exuberant and cheerful opening ceremony. This year, the Sports Fest has drawn the participation of more than 1,000 student athletes from the Institute.
The opening ceremony took place at HUTECH High-Quality Manpower Training Center (Saigon Hi-Tech Park, Thu Duc City) with the attendance of Dr. Nguyen Van Nhanh – Vice Director of HUTECH Institute of Engineering, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Linh - Deputy Head of the Office of Student Affairs along with other faculty members and lecturers of the Institute.

A large number of students participate in this year’s Sports Fest
In this year’s competition, HUTECH Institute of Engineering students will compete together in eight different categories, including volleyball, football, tug of war, badminton, chess, basketball, cross country running, and athletics (100m; 4x50m relay).
The Institute’s Sports Fest kicks off with the first two categories of competition including tug of war and athletics
The Intramural Sports Fest is an annual event organized by HUTECH Institute of Engineering that not only promotes the spirit of sport and physical activities among its students but also identifies the best athletes to be participating in university and municipal-level competitions.
With the participation of over 1,000 student athletes, the HUTECH Institute of Engineering Sports Fests is anticipated to be spearheading and promoting the spirit of sport among all students throughout the university
