The Management Information Systems (MIS) is a field of study that focuses on the design, implementation, management, and use of information technology applications in organizations.
The MIS training program at HUTECH is structured around three main application-oriented pathways:
• Data Analysis (Data Science)
• Information Management
• Business/Management Systems
Upon graduation, students majoring in MIS may pursue various professional roles, including:
• MIS Officer (specialist in developing an organization’s management information systems)
• Data Engineer, Data Scientist
• Business Analyst
• Data Analyst
• System Analyst
• ERP Implementation Consultant
• Digital Marketing Specialist
• Information Systems Auditor
• Researcher in machine learning and artificial intelligence, among others
This major is considered a perfect blend of Management (M) and Information Systems (IS), offering wide-ranging applications and meeting high labor market demands.
