HUTECH’s contribution to SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) is reflected in its efforts to ensure access to safe, affordable food and to promote food-related well-being across the university community. The University approaches this area through a governance framework that connects food safety, campus food access, and student well-being within daily operations. In particular, the Sustainable Development Policy 2026–2030 affirms HUTECH’s commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment as part of its broader sustainability agenda.
Within this framework, campus dining services are managed in accordance with hygiene and food safety requirements, helping ensure that students, staff, and lecturers can access meals in a clean, regulated, and affordable environment. Publicly available information on HUTECH’s campus facilities also highlights food outlets designed to meet everyday needs conveniently and at reasonable cost. In addition, through relevant teaching and applied learning activities, the University supports awareness of nutrition, food technology, and sustainable food systems. Taken together, these measures demonstrate HUTECH’s commitment to integrating food access, food safety, and responsible consumption into a healthier and more supportive campus environment.
