Since establishment in August 2014, The Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management has always been providing a field of study that attracts human resources and offers rich prospects in the current economy, often referred to as the "smokeless industry." With over 20 years of experience in training within the Service Management sector, and guided by the Institution's strategic direction and the valuable contributions of its staff, lecturers, and employees, the Faculty is continually growing and persistently provides high-quality human resources to society.
The Faculty’s curriculum includes foundational knowledge in economics, society, history, culture and people of Vietnam, as well as specialized knowledge and skills in tourism and hospitality operations. This includes travel activities, tour design and operation, event design and management in tourism, strategic planning, development and management of food services, and management of hospitality systems, tailored to the specific area of study.
Equipped with this comprehensive knowledge and professional skills, students are well-prepared to devise policies, strategies, and business plans, as well as to establish and manage businesses in the tourism and hospitality sectors, both domestically and internationally.
A distinctive advantage of the Tourism and Hospitality Management program at HUTECH is the preparation it provides for graduates to immediately work in English-speaking environments. In addition to theoretical knowledge and skills gained in the classroom, students receive hands-on experience through practical modules, a Business Semester, and internship programs, further enhancing their readiness for the industry.
