On May 26, students from the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) had an opportunity to engage directly with their chosen profession through a series of activities held at JW Marriott Hotel & Suites Saigon. This experience was part of the "Career Week 2025" initiative, designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practice.
As part of the program, students toured and examined the professional operational processes at the luxury JW Marriott Hotel & Suites Saigon, observing firsthand how departments such as Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Event Management coordinate closely and efficiently in every stage of service delivery. This activity also provided students with the opportunity to compare their theoretical knowledge with real-world industry practice, while developing essential skills such as observation, analytical thinking, and systemic reasoning – key competencies in the service sector.
