The Global Village 2025 event, jointly organized by AIESEC Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), took place in a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. The event offered students opportunities to explore international cultures and cultivate a global mindset right on campus.
AIESEC is a non-governmental and non-profit youth led organization with a mission to develop young people’s leadership potential through internships, volunteer activities, and global experiences. Among its flagship initiatives, the Global Volunteer program provides young people with opportunities to participate in social projects abroad aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Through these hands-on experiences, participants are encouraged to step out of their comfort zones, develop essential skills, enhance global awareness, and create positive impacts for communities.

Global Village 2025 brought together representatives from various countries including Indonesia, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Algeria, and India, creating a lively and engaging cultural exchange space. Over a 30-minute period, students freely visited country booths, interacted directly with international exchange participants, joined games and cultural challenges, and received participation slips after each activity.

Each booth not only showcased distinctive cultural identities but also shared authentic stories about people, daily life, and traditions from different countries. These experiences helped students realize that while the world is vast, it is also deeply connected. The event also provided opportunities for students to practice communication skills, adaptability, and openness, all of which are essential qualities of global citizens in today’s interconnected world.
