In addition to providing students with a solid foundation in theory and hands-on professional skills, HUTECH regularly organizes engaging “classrooms” in the form of seminars and workshops, where the “lecturers” are industry veterans with real-world experience. These sessions offer students valuable opportunities to enhance their knowledge, sharpen practical skills, and build the confidence and competitive edge they need to thrive in the future job market.

According to guest speaker Minh Luyen, working in the tourism industry—especially as a tour guide—requires more than just basic knowledge, skills, and attitude. To truly “win over” customers, students should also equip themselves with photography and videography skills, improve their foreign language proficiency, provide thoughtful customer care, and apply creative methods to make their tour presentations more engaging and enjoyable.

In addition to sharing practical knowledge, the guest speaker also guided students in role-playing as tour guides, having them practice delivering welcome speeches to tour groups right during the session. The talkshow provided an engaging and hands-on experience, allowing HUTECH students from the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management to absorb useful knowledge in a lively way—helping them build confidence and better prepare for their future careers.
