ELITES EVENTER – A premier platform for Event Management students

To provide students with opportunities to learn and showcase their talents in event planning, the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) officially launched the ELITES EVENTER competition on January 14.
ELITES EVENTER is a dynamic and professional playground for students to demonstrate their event management skills. The competition features three main rounds, each designed to challenge teams and push their creativity and confidence to new heights.

Scheduled to take place in February 2025, the preliminary round requires each team (consisting of 4–8 members) to present a detailed event proposal. Deliverables include a team introduction video, concept slides, event narrative, show script, and related visual designs. This round is where creativity and strategic thinking come into play in planning a large-scale event.
In the semi-final round, teams will further develop and refine their ideas based on feedback from the judging panel. This stage focuses on analytical skills, preparing sponsorship proposals, stage layout design, illustrative models, and a comprehensive communication plan.
The grand finale is the climax of the competition, where teams execute a fully developed event based on a specific brief from the organizing committee. A key highlight of this round is the integration of impressive performances and choreography, showcasing the team’s all-around talent and professional capability.

Following the competition launch, the audience was treated to a stunning fashion collection titled “Whispers of the Dark.” Inspired by the mysterious allure of darkness, the collection featured deep shades of black, smoky grey, icy metallics, and crimson red. Premium materials such as silk, velvet, leather, lace, and sequins were combined to create designs that not only served as works of art but also conveyed a powerful message, encouraging wearers to explore themselves, face their fears, and confront the hidden corners of their souls.
