To mark the completion of the program, HUTECH’s Department of International Relations and Project Management, in collaboration with AIDT, held a closing session to recognize the students’ achievements. The program also contributed to strengthening HUTECH’s ties with its educational partners in France, including CY Cergy Paris University, ECE Paris, Centrale Méditerranée, and Paris-Saclay University.
Throughout the internship, the students actively participated in research projects focusing on artificial intelligence, data processing, and information extraction. Beyond theoretical learning, they worked on real-world problems, explored research methodologies, analyzed data, and continuously tested different approaches to identify appropriate solutions.
Real-world AI challenges provided opportunities for students to strengthen their analytical thinking and research skills
Reflecting on the internship, Linossier Donatien shared: “What impressed me most about the program was the opportunity to work directly on research tasks involving AI and data processing and to experiment with different approaches to solving real-world problems. Through this experience, we gained valuable professional insights while developing a more structured and systematic approach to research.”
Alongside the academic experience, the open and collaborative working environment at AIDT also left a strong impression on the French students. The support of faculty members and researchers helped the interns quickly adapt, confidently ask questions, exchange technical ideas, and work together to find solutions to each challenge.
HUTECH’s open and collaborative environment made the internship a meaningful and memorable experience
The internship also offered new research perspectives to students with backgrounds in specialized engineering fields such as embedded systems. Moving beyond an approach primarily focused on industrial applications, they had the opportunity to become familiar with the scientific research process, from identifying problems and testing solutions to analyzing and evaluating results. The experience gave the students a clearer understanding of research while allowing them to explore new directions related to AI and emerging technologies.
The experience gained during the internship provides a strong foundation for students as they enter professional environments
Beyond technical expertise, the multicultural dimension added another valuable layer to the experience. Learning and collaborating with faculty members, researchers, and fellow interns in an international environment helped the students strengthen their communication, adaptability, and ability to work effectively with people from different backgrounds and perspectives. These skills are becoming increasingly important as technology is developed by multidisciplinary and multinational teams.
