[Video] Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management – HUTECH Celebrates 10 Years of Growth and Expansion

On the evening of August 1, the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) held a Ceremony to Celebrate its 10th Anniversary, marking a proud journey of dedication, growth, and remarkable achievements over the past decade.
In his speech at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quyet Thang – Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management – reflected on the 10-year journey: “Over the past decade, the Faculty has continuously improved, enhanced its quality, and affirmed its position in the tourism industry. We strive to become a reputable training institution in the field of tourism, hospitality, and restaurant management in Vietnam.”

In a joyful and celebratory atmosphere, Dr. Kieu Tuan – Party Committee Secretary and Standing Member of the University Council – extended his congratulations to the leadership, staff, and lecturers of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management. He highly appreciated the dedication and contributions of the faculty members in building a warm, united, and supportive learning environment – one of the key factors behind the Faculty’s success. Dr. Kieu Tuan also emphasized the importance of educating students to become well-rounded intellectuals – equipped not only with knowledge and professional skills, but also with strong ethical values to serve the nation. He expressed his confidence that the Faculty would continue to grow vigorously in the future and contribute even more talented graduates to society.

Through short videos, students creatively shared memorable moments and heartfelt stories about the Faculty, their lecturers, and friends—those who have walked alongside them on their journey to success.

Faculty honors student groups for inspiring TikTok storytelling
A 10-year journey may not be considered a long time, but it is certainly not short when it comes to affirming the stature of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management – HUTECH. Over the past decade, through tireless dedication and continuous effort, the Faculty has steadily affirmed its position, becoming a “shared home” for thousands of students, and rising to become one of the leading institutions for high-quality human resource training in the tourism – hospitality – restaurant sector in Vietnam.
