On June 20th and 21st, students from the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) and Cergy Paris Université (CYU, France) went on a field trip to AutoGraph, Liberty Hotel, and Des Arts (MGallery Hotel) to learn about hospitality in Vietnam.
This is part of the "Cultural Exchange with CY Cergy Université Paris (CYU, France)" program, which is offered by HUTECH's Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management. In addition to obtaining practical expertise, this is a chance for French students to study more extensively about the worldwide employment market, resulting in a more complete understanding of their desired profession.
Practical experience at corporates is a chance to help students study corporate culture and the realistic working environment
At Autograph Hotel, students were guided through the hotel area and introduced the unique working processes of roles such as receptionist, housekeeping manager, lobby manager, restaurant manager, etc., and other standards when working
The visit also provided students with the chance to meet and learn from professionals, allowing them to develop problem-solving abilities and a more in-depth understanding of the profession
At Liberty Hotel, students saw the business area and different types of rooms, as well as studying several roles and particular standards of customer service in a high-end hotel
Students got essential professional information and caught up with recent trends after the trip, preparing them for future careers
Students also visited the Des Arts Hotel (MGallery Hotel), acquired exposure to a realistic working environment, and comprehended the responsibilities of each position in Hospitality
Students were driven to create successful study programs to achieve their desired job objectives thanks to diverse and useful practical information
