On the morning of April 12, the Institute of Graduate Studies at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) held a meeting with class representatives from various Master's programs, in conjunction with the launch ceremony of the Liaison Committee for the HUTECH Graduate Alumni Association. The event marked an important step toward building a strong, connected alumni community that fosters knowledge-sharing and promotes humanistic values.

The program was designed to provide a platform for dialogue and engagement between University leadership and class representatives from the Master's programs. During the event, key issues such as academic programs, scientific research, graduate outcomes, and the digital learning system were openly discussed. Notably, the event also marked a significant milestone with the Launching Ceremony of the HUTECH Graduate Alumni Liaison Committee for the 2025–2027 term — a strong demonstration of the University's long-term commitment to supporting its graduate students on their shared journey of development.
To open the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thai Van Nam – Director of the Institute of Graduate Studies – shared the orientation for the Master’s training program at HUTECH. He emphasized the importance of learning outcomes and scientific research skills in enhancing student quality. He also introduced the regulations on scientific publications and the point-based criteria for research activities, encouraging students to actively participate in applied research projects.

Mr. Dao Quoc Huy – Director of the Center for Digital Learning – introduced HUTECH’s Learning Management System (LMS). This platform not only provides students with access to in-depth materials and digitized lectures but also enhances learning effectiveness and self-study skills through interactive learning activities.

Concluding the discussion session, Mr. Pham Gia Diep – Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Center – provided an overview of the grading system, course requirements, examination regulations, and grade updates on the academic portal. He also shared detailed information on tuition fees, payment methods, and key deadlines, helping students better understand administrative procedures and take a more proactive approach to their individual study plans.

A key highlight of the program was the Launching Ceremony of the HUTECH Graduate Alumni Liaison Committee for the 2025–2027 term. The Committee consists of 15 official members, including 1 Chairperson, 4 Vice Chairpersons, and 10 Members, representing various graduate programs at HUTECH. The Committee will serve as a bridge between the University and its alumni community, supporting academic and research activities, career development, and community engagement through volunteer initiatives.
