On the morning of April 5, new graduates from the Institute of Graduate Studies, Faculty of Information Technology, Faculty of Management Information Systems, Institute of Applied Sciences, and Faculty of Business Administration at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) officially graduated — marking a proud and heartfelt moment of gratitude.
The graduation ceremony is a meaningful milestone, marking a significant turning point in each student’s journey of learning and personal growth. More than just an occasion for the University to officially confer degrees to new Bachelors, Masters, and Doctorates, it is also a moment to recognize outstanding achievements and the perseverance and determination that have brought students through their academic journey.

In the solemn and emotional atmosphere of the ceremony, the new graduates received heartfelt congratulations from the University Board of Management, faculty members, family, and friends — those who had stood by their side throughout their academic journey. These words of encouragement were not only a recognition of their achievements but also a powerful source of motivation, instilling confidence and strength as they step into a new chapter, ready to pursue greater goals in their careers and lives.

With the theme “Grad Day – Glory Day,” newly conferred Doctor Phan Thi Hai Yen, from the Business Administration program, delivered a message of gratitude on behalf of the graduating class. She extended heartfelt thanks to the faculty, family members, and friends who had accompanied them throughout their journey of growth. She shared: “There is something truly special for us – the graduates of this April – as we mark our moment of maturity during HUTECH’s 30th anniversary (April 26, 1995 – April 26, 2025). Three decades – a journey of continuous innovation and development – have empowered generations of talented and ambitious students. On this special occasion, I would like to extend our warmest congratulations to the University: may HUTECH continue to thrive in the pursuit of knowledge, international integration, and sustainable development. At the same time, I would like to express our deepest gratitude to the Founding Council, the University Leadership, and all esteemed lecturers – those who have wholeheartedly built a bold and aspirational HUTECH, a true home of knowledge and a lasting source of pride for countless generations of students, learners, and researchers”.

As part of the ceremony on the morning of April 5, the University presented Certificates of Commendation and commemorative medals to seven graduates who achieved the title of Valedictorian of their cohort. The honorees included: Le Duc Huy (Mechatronic Engineering), Ho Van Minh and Le Quoc Vu (Civil Engineering), Huynh Thi Thanh Phuong (English Language), Huynh Tan Luc (Accounting), Huynh Thanh Thoang (Economic Law), and Le Dinh An (Civil Engineering).

In recognition of their active contributions to class organization and management, 11 graduate students were awarded Certificates of Commendation by the University. The recipients included: Le Nguyen Lan Huong, Tran Thi Hong Phuc, Tran Thi Kim Hue, and Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh (English Language); Huynh Thi Kim Le, Tran Thai Son, Nguyen Ba An, and Huynh Tan Luc (Accounting); as well as Le Van Nam, Huynh Thanh Thoang, and Le Thi Thanh Tra (Economic Law).
In addition, one student who graduated with High Distinction ahead of schedule — Vu Thi Xuan Mai from the Faculty of Business Administration — and four students with outstanding contributions to university activities — Phan Thi Thanh Nhan, Ha Thi Nhu Quynh, Nguyen Truong Long, and Do Kim Anh (Faculty of Business Administration), along with Tran Xuan Quynh (Faculty of Architecture and Fine Arts) — were also honored with awards from the University.

On the afternoon of April 5, students from the Institute of Engineering, Faculty of Korean Studies, Institute of Training Cooperation and Development, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Japanese Studies, Faculty of Pharmacy, and Vietnam–Japan Institute of Technology (VJIT) continued to attend the graduation ceremony. Among them, two Valedictorians of the cohort — Do Khac Dat (Class 20DMAJA1, Marketing) and Nguyen Van Tien Hung (Class 20DTDJA1, Automation and Control Engineering) — were honored with awards from the University.
