On February 20, nearly 300 students participated in the “Mock Interview - Employer Recruitment” program for February 2025, co-organized by the Center for Corporate Relations and the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH). The event provided students with the opportunity to directly engage with recruiters and explore internship and job openings from 12 reputable companies in the tourism, restaurant, and hospitality sectors.
The program gathered several prominent enterprises in the field, including Phu Tho Tourism Services JSC, Lua Viet Tours Co., Ltd., Dat Viet Tour JSC, Hotel Des Arts Saigon – MGallery, IN Hospitality JSC, Golden Smile Development JSC, among others. These companies offered a wide range of attractive internship positions and career opportunities.

The program brought together numerous leading companies in the tourism, restaurant, and hospitality industries
Expressing his delight and honor at the event, Mr. Ho Duc Sinh, Director of the Center for Corporate Relations, emphasized: “HUTECH is a multidisciplinary university with a strong focus on applied education. Therefore, providing students with real-world experience through engagement with businesses is a core element of our training strategy. Today’s event, with the participation of 12 companies, serves as a vital bridge for students to explore job opportunities and confidently integrate into the modern labor market.”
During the interview session, final-year students from the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management came well-prepared with polished application documents. They also demonstrated confidence and effectively applied their academic knowledge and professional skills when interviewing for various positions such as Tour Design and Business Consultant, Tour Sales, Tour Guide, Business Development Executive, Retail and Group Tour Sales Executive, Tourism Business Intern, Sales & Marketing Trainee, Front Office Intern, Kitchen Intern, and F&B Trainee. The students impressed recruiters with their proactive attitude and polished manner.

The students’ proactive attitude and professional demeanor received high praise from recruiters
Sharing her thoughts on HUTECH students at the event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Hang, Deputy Head of Recruitment at IN Hospitality JSC, remarked: “When visiting the university, we found that the students had a positive attitude and showed great confidence during their interviews with employers. In particular, when they join our company as interns, they are diligent and complete their assigned tasks effectively. These are standout qualities of HUTECH students - and exactly what our corporation looks for when searching for the perfect fit for our team.”
Aiming to apply for the position of Sales Executive at Lua Viet Tours Co., Ltd., Phung Thi Quynh Chau, a fourth-year student majoring in Tourism and Travel Service Management, shared: “Before the interview, I prepared all the required documents and equipped myself with the necessary skills and a polished appearance to make a good impression on the recruiters. This program has served as a valuable bridge, creating many job opportunities not only for me but also for other students of the Faculty. I sincerely hope to be selected for the position that I am passionate about.”
