On April 12, 2024, three students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) honorably received scholarships from LOTTE Scholarship Foundation (a part of LOTTE Group) with the amount of 400 USD per person. The program took place at LOTTE Hotel Saigon (2A-4A Ton Duc Thang, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1).
LOTTE Scholarship Foundation has been present in Vietnam since 2008 and has actively contributed to community and educational activities. This year's scholarship award ceremony maintains its crucial role as a bridge in promoting close relations between the two countries Vietnam and Korea.

It is known that The LOTTE Scholarship Foundation has awarded scholarships to 60 students from 11 universities in Ho Chi Minh City, including the three HUTECH students with disadvantaged backgrounds yet good academic performances: Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Tu (Class 21DTMA2, Faculty of Finance and Commerce), Ms. Ha Thi Nhu Quynh (Class 21DLQC1, Faculty of Business Administration), and Ms. Le Ngoc Phuong Van (Class 20DTAB2, Faculty of English Language). These scholarships were an acknowledgement of their continuous efforts and a motivation for the three students to accomplish their studying journey.

During the ceremony, Dr. Huynh Ngoc Anh presented HUTECH gifts to Ms. Haesun Chang, President of LOTTE Global Scholarship Foundation Shin Kyuk-Ho, as his heartfelt thanks for the Foundation’s care and support towards students. He also shared that “For the past few years, LOTTE Scholarship Foundation has sponsored lots of scholarships for HUTECH students striving to study regardless of their difficulties. This is a solid foundation for them to keep learning and becoming an all-round citizen with comprehensive knowledge, skills, attitude, and contribution to the country’s future development”.
