HUTECH Faculty of Finance and Commerce welcomes freshmen with meaningful gifts

In a friendly and warm - hearted atmosphere, the Faculty of Finance and Commerce of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) organized a freshman welcoming program on the afternoon of November 5.
The program was attended by several leaders of the university and the Faculty of Finance and Commerce along with industry representatives.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van Tung provides the freshmen with an overview of the Faculty of Finance and Commerce along with many meaningful traditions and diverse student activities. The Dean also expresses his congratulation to all the freshmen and encourages them to study hard and achieve many great successes during their time at HUTECH
Commending students with the highest scores from the entrance examination for the respective programs, including Accounting, Finance-Banking, and E-commerce
Supporting and encouraging students affected by recent natural disasters
Based on the motto "No one is left behind", the Faculty of Finance and Commerce Faculty also introduced students to the different enterprise-sponsored programs and industry scholarships to provide financial support to students in need while ensuring them to focus on their studies.
Representatives of Saigon Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SCB), Da Nang Education Development & Investment Joint Stock Company, Viet Nhat Auditing Company Limited, and Binh Thuan Lottery Limited Liability Company award scholarships and fundings for activities of the Faculty
The sharing of experience from industry experts is a great source of inspiration for students
Within the framework of the program, the freshmen had the opportunity to engage with these CEOs in the discussion on soft skills such as time management, job application preparation, gaining practical experience during their studies, and recruiter's requirements when applying for a job, etc.

The joyful moments of freshmen on the first day of a new academic year in a completely new learning environment
The joyful welcoming program is the opportunity to create a close bond among the freshmen of HUTECH Faculty of Finance and Commerce. Through this practical activity, students are inspired to strive in their studies and achieve many great successes in the pursuit of their youth and dreams.
