Passion and unity - the perfect "stepping stone" of the yellow-shirt team
To play a team sport well, a close connection is required, which is also the key for the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management to possess a championship lineup over the years. In the 2020 season, the Faculty was unbeaten in all 12 sets. Particularly, the most intense match against the Faculty of English Language on June 18 could be considered the "ultimate" match with the absolute strength of solidarity being displayed.

Captain Tuyet Trinh (13) confided, "The strongest point of the team is probably the spirit of solidarity. We are like a small family in which the members care a lot for each other." Outside of the university’s intramural league, the girls also call on each other to participate in different student competitions organized by enterprises and inter-collegiate associations.
Together unite in competition and victory
Passion comes from the individual, while solidarity is the "glue" held by the team’s captain - player Tuyet Trinh. Even in each match, Tuyet Trinh is a dependable figure that can revive the spirit and winning determination of the whole team.

Teammates help Phuong Anh after a save
From a tactical perspective, the "soul" of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management is the setter, Phuong Anh (No. 1). Not directly scoring as many points as the spikers, but Phuong Anh contributes to the perfect scoring setup from skillful passes and perfect coordination with the team’s spikers. As a newly added factor, Phuong Anh worked hard to pass the ball the best in all 3 attacking positions.
A record of 3 consecutive championships and pressure for the next seasons
The 2018 and 2019 season championship titles have created significant pressure for the team coming into this year’s tournament. Hence, the goal of winning the golden cup in the 2020 HUTECH GAMES is an honor for the team and the common pride of the whole Faculty.

The team had a good start when winning against the Faculty of Finance and Commerce. The impressive performance over the Faculty of Business Administration was then followed by consecutive wins against the Faculty of English, the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Faculty of Information Technology. In the end, the yellow-shirt girls won the well-deserved championship trophy in the cheers and joy of the whole team.

This is a memorable mark in the university-wide sports movement of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management as well as the challenge that future generations of students of the Faculty must continue to uphold and grow stronger.
