On July 2nd, seven students from HUTECH held a mid-term report session on their one-year internship at Musashino Factory in Fukuoka Province, Japan (started since January 2024).
Attending the reporting session were Mr. Yamaguchi – Director of the Musashino factory, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung – Vice Director of VJIT, Ms. Trinh Ngoc Anh – Head of VJIT’s Restaurant Management and Culinary Arts major, Dr. Nguyen Le Ha – Director of the Institute of Applied Sciences, Dr. Lam Van Man – Head of Food Technology major and other lecturers.
At the report session, student interns who were divided into two groups reported about their practical experiences, including the manufacturing process, difficulties in Japanese communication, and valuable knowledge gained.

Dr. Nguyen Le Ha expressed her appreciation and hoped that the students would continue to uncover new things at the site during the second half of the internship. In addition, Ms. Trinh Ngoc Anh praised the students' capabilities to adjust to the environment in Japan and advised them on exploiting information with the report-writing process.
Mr. Yamaguchi, the factory representative, expressed his satisfaction after observing the students' internship process. He believes that the students will reach their full potential in the future.

The internship program at Musashino Foods has shown to be a successful link between HUTECH and the company, providing opportunities for students to obtain practical experience, promote communication skills and behaviors in a professional setting. The knowledge and skills gained during the internship will be an advantageous foundation for students’ future careers.
| Musashino Foods Company has received about 50 student interns from VJIT, the Institute of Applied Sciences, and the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management. Students participating in these internships gain practical experience in the factory's key departments each week. Students can also take weekly classes to strengthen their Japanese proficiency, specialist knowledge, communication skills, and norms in Japanese firms. |
