English Communication workshop for HUTECH Business Management students

English is the most common language used nowadays by people all over the world. However, not all English users are confident with their ability to communicate in English. Understanding this concern, on June 2^nd, 2018, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) Faculty of Business Management has organized the workshop “How to improve English communication ability” for the faculty’s students and other students interested.

Joining the students in this workshop were 2 speakers form the Faculty: MA. Nguyen Luu Thanh Tan, graduated from Northumbria University (UK), and MA. Pham Ngoc Tram Anh, graduated from Western Sydney University (Australia).

The speakers came from international education environments, and are thus equipped with great ability to communicate in English

The spearkers shared some interesting tips and tricks on how to communicate effectively in English. According to Mr. Nguyen Luu Thanh Tan, the bases in grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation are the key in good English communication. Besides, the regular use of English through interactions with foreigners, or through movies and music is also a good way to help improve our ability to communicate in English.

In addition, with her stories in studying English, Ms. Pham Ngoc Tram Anh also brought helpful advices on how to study grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary to the students, as well as how to be confident when conversing with foreigners.

With the enthusiasm and experiences from the speakers, HUTECH business administration students have gathered many helpful “recipe” to improve their English studies and be more confident in their daily life and future career. May this workshop be a good motivation for them to further their pursue of international careers.
