In the evening of January 5th, 2019, the Gala Night “Miss HUTECH 2019” took place with impressive performances of top 20 contestants at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology(HUTECH). At the end of the contest, Nguyen Thi Thanh Khoa excellently won the prize and officially became Miss HUTECH 2019.
The guests of honor attendingthe Gala Night were Nguyen Thi Thuy An, 2nd runner-up Miss Vietnam 2018; singers Miu Le and Ngo Kien Huy, and many more beautiful contestants in the previous seasons of Miss HUTECH such as Huynh Thi Cam Tien, beautiful women in sports, Miss Universe 2017; Vu Ngoc Dung, Miss HUTECH 2017; Nguyen Tran Thien An, 2nd runner-up Miss HUTECH 2017.
"Powerful" judges at the Gala Night
Top 20 Miss HUTECH worn the Ao Dai, a symbol of Vietnamese feminine beauty.
With the good preparation, all of top 20 Miss HUTECH brought to the audiences and judges the most exciting and impressive performances. Especially, designer Nguyen Viet Hung and students at major of fashion design also provided the all outfits, which were limited editions for the Top 20 in the Gala Night.

The event included the participation of the powerful judges: Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung, designer; Ms. H’Ăng Nie, 2nd supermodel runner-up; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Van Son, psychology expert; Quynh Hoa, Master Ceremony; Luu Thi Diem Huong, Vietnamese Miss World 2010 and Luong Gia Huy, Ambassador of King Universe 2017.
Contestants in the Evening Gowns round
After finishing 3 Rounds: Sportswears, Ao Dai, and Evening Gowns, the judges revealed Top 5: Nguyen Huong Giang, Le Thi Hoang Chau, Cao Thi Tuyet, Nguyen Thi Thanh Khoa, and Huynh Ai Xuan. Then, Top 5 moved to the last round. During the Question and Answer round, the contestants showed their wit in answering questions under pressure. Finally, Nguyen Thi Thanh Khoa won the highest prize with the most persuasive answer.
