Faculty of Information Technology of HUTECH organizes the closing ceremony and awards certificates of the course “Agile & Scrum Framework”

On November 11th, 2019, Faculty of Information Technology of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology(HUTECH) and DEK Technologies company jointly held a closing ceremony and awarded certificates of the course “Agile & Scrum Framework” to students at HUTECH’s main campus.

The event took place with the attendance of Mr. Huynh Thien Khiem, Agile’s coach of Vietnam DEK Technologies company. From the Faculty of Information Technology of HUTECH, there were Dr. Vo Thanh Hien, Vice Dean; Dr. Huynh Quoc Bao, Vice Dean; Mr. Duong Thanh Phet, Vice Dean, along with lecturers and students of the Faculty.

The Agile & Scrum training course was sponsored by DEK Technologies to give HUTECH information technology major students deep insights into the highly popular project methodology. Within four weeks, students were able to learn key concepts of the project management approach, discover how to lead project management teams, develop and deliver high-quality products throughout Agile software and Scrum Framework procedure, and implement best practices in an organization.
07 students received certificates and 51 students received credentials for their accomplishment of the training course
07 HUTECH students who got the score above 70% of final test awarded certificates and 51 students received credentials for their accomplishment of the training course. This recognition would be a bonus mark for students when applying for the job at enterprises developing Agile software and Scrum Framework procedure.
