5,000 masks will be given to protect HUTECH students’ health from Covid-19

On the morning of March 24^th, 2020, Faculty of Architecture and Arts at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) prepared 5,000 antibacterial masks to give to students when returning to university for health protection. This activity joins hands with the community to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

Following the slogan "Faculty of Architecture and Arts HUTECH join hands with the community to defeat the Covid-19 disease", the faculty officially presented 5,000 masks made from antibacterial medical cloths which were produced by HUTECH lecturers and students majored in Textile and Garment Technology, Faculty of Architecture and Arts.

5,000 antibacterial masks will be given to students when returning to university

In addition to the number of masks given to students, the Faculty also sent more than 1,000 masks to HUTECH staffs and lecturers who are currently working here. This is a practical gift that shows the desire to join hands with the community to stop the spread of virus as well as ensuring all Hutech people can continue their work and study effectively.

This donated masks project was directed and operated by Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Quyen - Head of HUTECH Faculty of Architecture and Arts with the companion of two alumni of HUTECH Textile and Garment Technology department, Ms. Pham Thi Khanh Giang - Creative Director of J-P Fashion Company and Mr. Thi Minh Tuan – Manager from Phong Phu International Garment Company (PPJ) as the sponsor of high quality antibacterial medical cloth for the project.
 

The project also has the cooperation of HUTECH alumni, Dr. Vu Van Hoang - Director of Dai Viet Consulting, Supervision and Construction Investment Joint Stock Company, Mr. Luong Tu Cuong - Deputy Director of ARCH Architecture Co., Ltd, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong - Director of the Minh Thanh construction company and other alumni from the Association of 500 Construction Engineers. In particular, Dr. Kieu Tuan - Chairman of the Board of Trustees, HUTECH Party Committee Secretary, Dr. Nguyen Toan - Advisor to HUTECH Institute of Professional Training, Mr. Do Thanh Tich - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tan Tin Thanh Co., Ltd. (Intoc), and Mr. Dinh Viet Duy - General Director of Commercial Construction Joint Stock Company have also participated in sponsoring this meaningful and practical project.
