More internship opportunities for students of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management

On December 12, 2014, the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management of Ho Chi Minh University of Technology (HUTECH) had an official working session with representatives of Metropole Wedding & Convention Center and De Nhat Hotel at HUTECH Center for Corporate Relations.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Tran Dinh Huy - Vice President of HUTECH, Mr. Nguyen Kim Ngu - Deputy General Director of Metropole Wedding & Convention Center, and Mr. Le Minh Nhut - Head of Human Resources Department of De Nhat Hotel.

The content of the exchange between the two sides revolved around three issues: Accepting students of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management for graduation internship, creating conditions for HUTECH students to have the opportunity to work part-time at the Center, implement Enterprise Semester (4 months) for undergraduate students majoring in Restaurant and Food Service Administration.
 

HUTECH students will be able to expand their internship and work opportunities

Dr. Nguyen Quyet Thang - Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management said, “This will be a good opportunity for students to have a chance to practice, to help them better understand the theoretical lessons, confidently accept and fulfill the assigned job requirements after graduation.”
 

Through the diverse activities as part of the "HUTECH - the age of 20" program, students can improve their practical knowledge

In the near term, HUTECH students will have better access to opportunities for graduation internships and job placements at reputable organizations within the network of Metropole Wedding & Convention Center and Saigon Tourist system upon graduation.
