Environmental engineering students experience the real working environment at Tan Binh Industrial Park

Students majoring in Environmental Engineering from the K15 cohort of the Institute of Applied Sciences, Ho Chi Minh University of Technology (HUTECH) had a field trip to the waste treatment plant of TANIMEX Company located at Tan Binh Industrial Park.

As one of the regular activities organized by the Institute, practical field trips are excellent opportunities for students to have a better grasp on the nature of their chosen careers. On this occasion, the visit to the waste treatment plant was led by Mr. Lam Vinh Son - Vice Director of the Institute and accompanied by Mr. Pham Duc Phuong - Director of Tanimex Factory.

On this occasion, students were introduced to the simulation of the company’s wastewater treatment line and technology before being guided to visit each specific stage directly to understand the operation and management process of the wastewater treatment station.

Students had the opportunity to actively engage in discussion and ask questions related to the wastewater treatment process, thereby enhancing the theories learned in the classroom while having the first-hand experience on the operation process. The valuable practical knowledge gained from this field trip contributed effectively to the professional development of future environmental engineers.
